Expert Witness reports are required for various situations, including courts looking into cases where professional and or clinical conduct is questioned. You may require a statement in support of your view of events. The expert witness can only work for the court regardless of payment from a party. However you will have a clear indication if the expert agrees with your view of events and if they are prepared to write a statement in support of the facts. The other party may engage their own expert witness to counter any supportive statements made.
